How many people are expected to attend IBIE?
Approximately 20,000 baking professionals are expected to attend.

Who attends IBIE?
Participants represent the entire industry including small, medium and large wholesale bakery plants; retail bakeries and outlets; in-house supermarkets; catering companies; restaurants/hotels; artisan bakeries, coffee shops, pizza restaurants/chains, etc…

Am I eligible to exhibit?
The show is open. You do not have to be in the baking industry to attend IBIE 2016, however, IBIE is designed for trade professionals in the grain-based foods industry–it is not a consumer show. We highly encourage food manufacturers and suppliers in the industry to attend. All  guests (except children) are welcome to attend the show, although guests and spouses are not complimentary. All attendees are subject to the registration fee. If you are not in the industry, please select the “Allied/Other” registration category when you register.

Can I take pictures at the trade show?
Cameras are strictly prohibited on the show floor. Exceptions are authorized members of the media. Camera passes for media members are available in the Media Information Center at the Las Vegas Convention Center. To make arrangements in advance, contact Jacquelyn Wells at jacquelyn@marketingdesigngroup.com.

What IBIE educational seminar programs are available and how much do they cost?
Education seminar information, including cost, is available on the IBIE website: www.IBIE2016.com. Click on the “Education” link. To view the full 2016 educational programming and session descriptions, click here.

Are there meeting rooms I can reserve while onsite?
If an exhibitor would like to reserve a meeting room for a private meeting, they should fill out the Meeting Space Request Form found here. The completed form should be returned to Samantha Moore via fax at 202.898.1164 or email at smoore@americanbakers.org. Meeting space will not be assigned during show hours.

How is IBIE addressing the closing date of the exposition coinciding with Yom Kippur?
The IBIE 2016 Committee sincerely apologizes for the conflict between the closing of the show and the start of Yom Kippur. It certainly is not an ideal situation and we had extensive and very thoughtful discussions about how best to work around this challenge as we recognize the inconvenience this may cause the Jewish Community. After more than a year of deliberation and research, we determined the best solution was to make an unprecedented decision and reschedule the show days from Sunday–Wednesday to Saturday–Tuesday in order to better accommodate our Jewish participants. Further, we have preemptively secured future calendar dates through 2028 to ensure we won’t encounter this challenge again in the future.

To those celebrating this holy day, we invite you to make air and other travel destination arrangements as early as possible as you determine how to accommodate your personal plans relative to the show dates.

Who do I contact with questions about my booth?
If you have questions about your booth please contact exhibits@IBIE2016.com.

Exhibitors are encouraged to forward show information  to customers utilizing  the free tools in the “Partner in Promotion” program.
